Buongiono!
Happy New Year! This website is undergoing maintainance at the moment, apologies for any inconvenience. Please check for updates soon.
My wonderful Italian wife Patrizia and I run our pottery from our workshop and gallery at Hilton Court in Pembrokeshire, Wales. There are a variety of directions for the work - we both work with crystalline glaze, my pots are mostly thrown forms, Patrizia makes ceramic jewellery and large bowls. Continuing from mid-seventies college influence I continue to develop a stoneware range and Patrizia's new work this year is the development of Venetian style porcelain masks. Our main work is the development and production of crystalline glaze ware.
If you are a visitor to Hilton Court reading this we'd like to thank you for supporting us. It is now our main market for our work though we are still supplying some shops galleries and doing a few craft shows.
We regularly take orders for work via e mail. This is usually from existing customers who know our work.
Please e mail for a quote for anything you have in mind. I would e mail an image of a piece to you before posting. P&P is only charged at the postage cost. Please go to the outlets page to see where our work can also be found.
Currently our 'contacts' page on this site is not working. Please e mail us through mark.walford@homecall.co.uk

I am still experimenting with a variety of different recipes and firing alternatives. We have been wood firing and producing reds and purples, now experimenting with orange crystals, though there is no end in sight to the experiments, is there ever? Our recent work has been the development of a lantern form, again from the faithful college sketchbook and the development of a darker more sombre blue. Please remember that visitors to our workshop at Hilton Court are welcome. Best Wishes Mark and Patrizia
